We are setting up our very own school radio station and are in need of a production team to run it and keep the news and entertainment flowing......

If you are interested in broadcasting/media/journalism or just like working with computers and expensive equipment with losts of flashy lights and buttons this could be for you. Gain some valuable experience whilst having a lot of fun too! This is open to all pupils and staff.

Quick Start Music Project sign up - Following your enrichment assembly at the end of last year we are now ready to start this project early in September.

The Young Enterprise QuickStart™ Music Programme offers groups of up to 50 students the experience of setting up and running their own real mini music enterprise in school. Working in company teams students take on the full spectrum of music industry functions and roles to put on a music event or produce and sell a music product. ICT/Media Team Notice

As from September 2008 all computers on the curriculum network (Student) will have Microsoft Office 2007 installed on them. As many Students will know, this new version of the office suite has been totally re-designed and has fundamentally change the design and layout with a brand new user interface. The new layout has replaced the previous menus and toolbars that have been standard features of office since the very early stages and replaced them by a tabbed toolbar.

We strongly advise all Staff and Students to make themselves familiar with the new office layout as soon as possible so that they have a understanding of how the new layout works before they start back for the new academic year.

This change will ONLY affect the student computers. Staff will continue to use the normal MS Office Suite that is already installed on their laptops

	We have now reached over 500,000 hits on our VLE. This is some achievement. We set this as our VLE week target........ lets now aim for 1 million hits.
