Come on guys, let everyone know about the books you are reading.
I’m currently reading a new book by Michael Grant. He is an American author who has written lots of different types of books (and never using his real name!). I actually met him during the easter holidays and he is a really interesting guy. He has been all over America and had many different jobs – he even had a spell living under a motorway overpass!

This book is awesome and sucks you in from the first page! Imagine you are sitting in your class one day listening to the teacher and they suddenly disappear in the blink of an eye. Not only that, anyone who is over the age of 14 also completely disappears. Children aged 14 and under are left…now imagine how you would feel? elated? happy?…those left must do all they can to survive. But everyone’s idea of survival is different. Some look after themselves, some look after others, and some will do anything for power…Even kill.
Without giving too much away the book has an XMen feel about it and also reminds me of Lord of the Flies (By William Golding)
